    Leiper’s Creek Timber Frames builds heirloom timber frames out of Franklin. We work with landowners, builders, and designers who want work that lasts. We need someone in Middle Tennessee who can build real relationships here: meet people, follow up, and help serious projects find their way to the shop. This is part-time. You will spend time in the community and some time in our office. You will use our CRM and email, and we will show you the product. We are a small team. If you like people, you can keep a calendar, and you want to help a local company grow, this is the job.

    Requirements
    • Comfortable talking with clients, builders, and homeowners, in person and on the phone.
    • Lives in or around Middle Tennessee and can get to Franklin.
    • Organized.
    • Everyday tech is fine (email, a CRM, a phone). Willing to learn our tools.
    • Construction, architecture, or design background is a plus, not required.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Leiper’s Creek Timber Frames builds heirloom timber frames out of Franklin, Tennessee, and we raise them across the country. We are a small team, so you will work closely with the shop, the designers, and the owners. This role runs a timber frame from the first client conversation through the raising: schedule, vendors, the crew, and the general contractor. You will travel to sites. You will use our CRM and the rest of our software, and we will teach you what you do not already know. We are looking for someone with a construction background who works hard, stays organized, and wants to help a small company get better.

    Requirements
    • Construction experience, in the field or the shop.
    • Clear communicator with clients, builders, and the crew.
    • Comfortable with everyday tech (email, spreadsheets, a CRM) and willing to learn new tools.
    • Willing to travel for site visits and raisings.
    • Based around Franklin / Middle Tennessee.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Reliable, organized, and glad to take responsibility for the work.

    Leiper's Creek Timber Frames builds heirloom timber frames out of Franklin, Tennessee, and we raise them across the country. We are a small team, so you will work closely with the shop, the designers, and the owners. This role supports our project managers and keeps the details from slipping: purchase orders and vendor follow-up, submittals and shop drawing revisions, delivery and crane scheduling, job folders, and the punch list after a raising. You will keep our CRM current and be the person who knows where every timber order stands. You will get on the road for site visits and raisings, and you will learn the frame from the shop floor up. We are looking for someone organized and hungry who wants to grow into running their own projects.

    Requirements
    • Some construction, shop, or trades experience, or a construction management degree.

  • Timber Frame Laborer

    Leiper's Creek Timber Frames builds heirloom timber frames out of Franklin, Tennessee, and we raise them across the country. This is general labor on a small crew: you will help cut, move, and assemble timbers in the shop, and you will travel to help raise frames on site. On a raising you will take direction from the lead, handle rigging and layout, climb when the work needs it, and keep the site clean and safe. Between raisings you will be in the shop: stacking, loading the trailer, and whatever else the frame needs. We will teach timber-frame work. We need someone strong, careful, and glad to work outside in the weather.

    Requirements
    • Able to lift and carry heavy materials all day, work at heights, and work in heat, cold, and rain.
    • Some construction, farm, mill, or shop experience is a plus, not required.
    • Follows direction on a crew and looks after the people next to them.
    • Willing to travel for raisings, including overnight.
    • Based around Franklin / Middle Tennessee.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Reliable, on time, and careful with tools and other people's property.
