Gothic Inspiration
Gothic Inspiration is a 16-by-16-foot timber frame pavilion—a compact outdoor room with pointed or steeply expressive roof geometry in the Gothic tradition.
At this scale every member is close to the eye. Braces, rafters, and posts have to be fair and consistent because there is no large volume to absorb visual noise.
Leiper’s Creek Timber Frames designed and raised the pavilion as a small custom frame: shop-cut joinery, delivered and assembled so the owner gets a finished timber silhouette quickly.
Small pavilions are often the first timber project for a property—a garden room, a chapel-like outdoor seat, or a focal structure in a courtyard.
It sits in the portfolio next to larger barns and event spaces to show that the same craft applies from sixteen feet square to sixty-foot event barns.
