Leiper’s Creek Timber Frames is a high end timber frame design and construction firm specializing in heirloom quality structures built with artistry and precision.
We work with builders, landowners, luxury homeowners, and designers who value character, craftsmanship, and the kind of beauty that never goes out of style. And because legacy-level work takes time, the best time to start building your vision — is now.
Former merchant mariner, Matt started Leiper’s Creek Timber Frames as a hobby in his garage. He cut timber frames by hand in between three month trips on the high seas. What began as a love for durable and lasting construction techniques has broadened to include the revival of the timber design that defined European culture. In his free time, Matt enjoys rebuilding a legacy family farm with his wife and children in Leiper’s Fork, TN.
An expert on high-performance mechanical systems in a previous career, Garrett provides invaluable attention to detail and governance over complicated timber frame projects.
A middle TN native, Joey Brindle is a talented woodworker who joined the LCTF team at the very beginning, originally running a sawmill in addition to timber framing. He has a passion for quality building which is reflected in the detailed custom pieces he produces out of his woodshop when not timber framing for LCTF.
Joseph is a dedicated and hard-working member of our raising crew, deliberate about quality and honesty. Quick to pick up new skills, Joseph handles joinery which can only be cut by hand.
Juliana runs the office at LCTF. She is skilled at coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. She is also responsible for the management and distribution of marketing material, often handling many responsibilities throughout the day.
